Pepper Creek

I have lived 20 miles from this beautiful store for most of my life and never realized it!! I did a Google Maps search for "independent plant store Rockford, Illinois," and that's how I found it. Absolutely incredible, it's a gift shop, florist, and a greenhouse all-in-one! There are cute seasonal decor pieces. The gift items are unique and beautifully displayed. The plants are INCREDIBLE. They are so healthy and beautiful. I was struck by the sheer number and variety of house plants. I visited in summer, so there were lots of outdoor plants as well. But I haven't found another store around this area with such a selection of house plants...besides the big box stores. They had entire tables of Peperomia, Calatheas, Pothos, Marantas, ZZ plants, and so much more! There's even a sweet pair of four-legged friends wandering around. Gus greeted me at the door today! 🐈‍⬛️🖤The people who work at Pepper Creek obviously enjoy their jobs. They are so kind and helpful! I can't promise I won't be there weekly to buy a new plant! 🪴🌸

I stop here at least once a month. Wonderful selection of fresh flowers and plants. Great place to purchase gifts for loved ones. I've used them for deliveries to funerals and well as for friends. Their arrangements or plants always look amazing and receive many good comments.

Pepper Creek created a beautiful funeral arrangement for me after a larger establishment notified me the day of the funeral - they were no longer able to fulfill my request! With an hour and a half to closing, and the day of the visitation, they created a beautiful arrangement and had it safely delivered on time. To the woman on the phone, the manager in which she asked for permission to do a last minute delivery, and to the designer ❤️, thank you so much. This means the world to my friends and I to be able to share this with our close friend whose Mother passed away so suddenly.

I called Pepper Creek on Christmas Eve from out of state. Words cannot convey our gratitude for the lovely arrangement they sent to my granddaughter after her hospital procedure. I have included both photos of the beautiful flowers and her reaction to them. This is truly a special business in Rockford. Thanks so much again.🩷

I just bought my house plant here and I was more than pleased with the quality of the plants when I walked in. The price was excellent for the quality and large size. 11.99$ for this well taken care of, beautiful spider plant! Couldn't be happier! They had so many different varieties of house plants, I'll definitely be back for more in the future. I can tell they really take care of their plants and I highly recommend them.
